Funding Announcements

Below and attached is information pertaining to the recently released DHR – FY 2016 Homeless Grant Funding Application process. This includes the Emergency and Transitional Housing and Services (ETHS) and Homelessness Prevention Program (HPP) grants that are administered by the City of Frederick; therefore, I am passing along this notice to all FCCH members. Please contact me immediately by email or phone (301-600-3955) if you are interested in applying for either ETHS or HPP funding.

The grantees that have previously received ETHS funding include: Advocates for Homeless Families, Heartly House, Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs, and Frederick Community Action Agency. All four (4) grantees have used the ETHS funding for the operation of emergency shelter and transitional housing programs. The HPP funds have been used by the Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs to prevent evictions by paying arrearages on rent.
