Volunteer's Needed For...
8th Annual Halloween in Baker Park
Friday, October 21st, 2016
Check out our volunteer recruitment video

We are looking for adult volunteers, families, organizations, drama, civic organizations and businesses to help with our Halloween Event Friday, October 21st, 2016.

What

It can be as easy as walking through Baker Park in costume along the path by Carroll Creek or if you like to act you can interact with the tours. We always need Halloween Characters throughout the park! Do you juggle, play an instrument, like to act, have a special talent? Make that part of your Halloween Character, or are you quiet and like to jump out and scare unsuspecting victims without saying a word and in disguise....that works great also!

We are looking for Spirit Guides to take groups throughout the park (no scripts to learn), and Spirit Guide Assistants bringing up the back of the tour for safety, Halloween Characters, Costume Helpers, and "Trunk or Treat" cars, with "decorated trunks" parked along Carroll Creek pathway (city provides the candry).

Really Enjoy Halloween?

For anyone interested in Halloween decorating with a special theme we have 13 small pavilions by the pool area. You can adopt one for the night, decorate it, dress in your theme costume, and hand out candy to tours. Remember the city provides candy the night of the event. If you are a business with special logo let us know when you call to volunteer.

This is a perfect way for you and your friends, family, group or business to enjoy the Halloween experience, interact with the community and have an unforgettable evening in the park!

Would you rather Donate an Item?

If you do not want to be involved with our evening in the park, we also are looking for donations of prom dresses, men's dress shirts, men's jackets, men's dress pants, hats and dress gloves. For props we are looking for baby dolls of any size or condition and any Halloween theme decorations.

This is such a.....

Fun, entertaining and easy to do evening in the city, we hold the event before Halloween on purpose, so it will not interfere with your personal Halloween plans.

We can help with ideas, costumes, and props if needed!
