Home Security Checklist

The Frederick Police Department wants to keep our city safe and secure for all those who work and live in our communities.  If we work together, we can achieve this goal.

As a service, the Department is providing you with this two-sided “Home Security Check List.”  If actively followed, it should serve as an effective crime deterrent because the list will help identify areas of your residence where security needs improvement. Using the list as an initial guideline, it can also assist you in determining other areas of your home that may warrant further security considerations.  If you would like to schedule a free, personal home security survey conducted by one of our officers, please contact our Community Services Division at 301 694-2138.

The men and women of the Frederick Police Department thank you for your support in keeping Frederick a great place to live and work.
