A Message from the Park Enforcement Agent

My name is Jesse Goode, Park Enforcement Agent for the City of Frederick & I am responsible for the enforcement of the laws & ordinances governing the City of Frederick's park system.
Most of you may not be aware of the laws & ordinances relative to our parks, & some of you may not even be aware of this position or of the fact that I am the first person hired in this capacity.

It is our desire for Frederick's park system to be the best in the state and together we can make sure it will be!

Mission of the Park Enforcement Agent

The mission of the Park Enforcement Agent is to oversee the activities of all the parks within the boundaries of the City of Frederick. To serve and protect the individuals who use these parks and to insure the proper use of these open areas to the benefit of community members, to preserve the peace and public order within these areas for the benefit of it's users. To detect violations and address said violations as set for the in the laws and ordinances of our City in a fair, impartial, consistent, complete, and professional manner. All of this is being done under the authority of the Mayor and the Board of Aldermen for the City of Frederick.

Jurisdiction:
The jurisdiction in this situation shall be considered all park areas within the boundaries of the City of Frederick. Park Enforcement Agent(s) shall possess and shall exercise enforcement powers on all parklands within the boundaries of the City of Frederick.
