YOUTH SUMMER SAFETY CAMPAIGN
The Frederick Police Department is pleased to announce their summer safety campaign which includes a brochure on “Keeping Kids Safe”, Summer Safety Tips and a worksheet on how to create a summer safety plan with your children.
The brochure covers Home Safety both inside and out as well as dealing with strangers, Internet safety, bike safety, scooter, skateboard, & skating safety & water safety.
The summer plan worksheet includes places for your child’s address, important phone #’s, designating safe neighbors, outside boundaries, Internet rules, telephone rules, and even a spot for chores. This form can be modified to fit any family situation.
