Frederick Police & YMCA Celebrate 150 Years of Service
Gigantic Birthday Carnival May 17th 12:00 – 4:00 pm


Please join the Frederick Police Department and the Frederick YMCA on Saturday May 17th for a gigantic birthday carnival to celebrate 150 years of service to the community!

This event, runs from 12:00 – 4:00 pm at the YMCA facility at 1000 North Market Street, Frederick MD, is entirely FREE to the public and will feature fun and exciting activities for the whole family.

There will be carnival games, live entertainment, arts & crafts, food, performances and much much more.

The Frederick Police Department will be featuring our special 150th Anniversary Interactive Children Area in which children will have the opportunity to try on uniforms and duty gear, , create their own anniversary badge as well as tour our mobile command bus and assorted other police vehicles. We will also be featuring a vintage police car as well as have a special appearance by McGruff the Crime Dog.

This event will be held rain or shine.
