GRADUATION OF FREDERICK POLICE DEPARTMENT'S 50th ACADEMY

On Friday, May 9, 2008 the Frederick Police Department will celebrate the accomplishments of eleven of the area’s newest police officers. On this date ten Frederick Police officers and one Laurel officer will graduate from the 50th Frederick Police Academy, Central Maryland’s longest, continuously running, certified police academy.

Neal Trautman, a celebrated police instructor and Executive Director of the National Institute of Ethics is the guest commencement speaker. The Frederick Police Department welcomes him to Frederick and welcomes his remarks and encouragement to the newest members of our law enforcement family.

Please join us and other local, state and federal officers and civilians on May 9, 2008, at 2:00 pm in the Weinberg Center to celebrate the graduation of the Department’s 50th Police Academy. The ceremony will be followed by a reception with refreshments.
