PHONE SCAM

The Frederick Police Department has received several complaints from citizens about a phone scam. The caller claims to be a Medicare representative and advises the person that they have qualified for free Medicare coverage. The caller then tells the person that they need to verify their address and bank account information. Never disclose any personal information until you have confirmed the legitimacy of the call. Please report suspicious calls to police.
