2004 Comprehensive Plan
The 2004 Comprehensive Plan is a tool for the citizens, staff and elected officials in determining how the City of Frederick should grow over the next 20 years. The 2 year process included a steering committee of over 21 persons who represented residents, developers and elected officials. There were over 160 meetings with the citizen groups, Steering Committee, Planning Commission, and the Mayor & Board of Aldermen. Over 1,300 people attended these meetings. The plan was adopted on September 16, 2004 by the Mayor & Board of Aldermen.
