Mission Statement: To compile a balanced annual City budget with the following goals:
1. Support the priorities established in the Citys strategic plan
2. Support the priorities of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen
3. Communicate effectively throughout the collection, justification, analysis, revision, open discussion and dissemination phases.
4. Appropriately match spending priorities with available resources
5. Maintain appropriate fund balances, capital contribution levels and debt payment amounts
6. Monitor and control spending in accordance with the adopted budget
