Property Information

While the City does not conduct private surveys or maintain “plots” of your property, we do have copies of all of the subdivisions with the City Limits. If you are seeking a description of your property, please contact the State Department of Taxation at (301) and the Frederick County Land Records Office at (301) 600-1980. If you require the services of a property line or professional Land Surveyor to ascertain your property line or set your property corners, you may select a firm from the yellow pages.

Locating Property Corners

To locate your property corners, contact a surveying company. These companies can be found in your local yellow pages.
Property ownership, tax assessment and tax identification numbers are available on the State of Maryland web site.
