Waste Collection & Disposal
PLEASE NOTE:
There will be
NO Trash Collection services on the following
holidays in 2008:
New Years Day,
Tuesday, January 1 (do not set out on Monday night
for Tuesday morning)
Memorial Day, Monday, May 26 (do not set out on
Sunday night for Monday morning)
4th of July, Friday, July 4 (do not set out on
Thursday night for Friday morning)
Labor Day, Monday, September 1 (do not set out
on Sunday night for Monday morning)
Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27 (do not set
out on Wednesday night for Thursday morning)
Christmas, Thursday, December 25 (do not set out
on Wednesday night for Thursday morning)
New Year's Day 2009, Thursday, January 1 (do not set out on Wednesday night for Thursday morning)
Residents should
NOT set their trash out the night before these
holidays. Residents are asked to hold their trash
until the next regularly scheduled trash collection
day.
EFFECTIVE:
May 1 2006. The City will no longer collect yard
waste, including grass clippings, as part of its
trash collection services.
The
City of Frederick Department of Public Works and
the Frederick County Government provide the following
solid waste services:
