CITY OF FREDERICK VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE NEARS FOR GENERAL ELECTION

Frederick, MD -- Frederick City residents who wish to register to vote in the November 3, 2009 City General Election are reminded that the deadline for voter registration is 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5.

 

In order to become a registered voter, individuals must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Frederick City, and be at least 18 years of age on November 3, 2009.

 

Voter registration applications are available in County libraries, the Motor Vehicle Administration, Frederick Community College, the County Courthouse, and all U.S. Post Offices.  Additionally, the City's Board of Supervisors of Elections will be staffing a table and registering voters at In The Streets this coming Saturday, October 3. The form may also be found online at www.elections.state.md.us/pdf/2007_English_InternetVRA.pdf

 

Individuals may also register at the Board of Elections, Winchester Hall, 12 E. Church Street, Frederick, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
