LAND DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION

Services include:

Administers all development-related reviews and approvals. Private development drawings are reviewed to ensure compliance with applicable codes such as Stormwater Management, Floodplain Management, Sediment and Erosion Control and City design criteria.

Management of City-funded CIP projects and minor capital projects that may be constructed through grant funding. Professional engineers work with consultants hired by the City to obtain plan review and approval.

Accepts Public Works Agreements to guarantee the completion of work within the public right-of-way as well as sediment and erosion control and private stormwater management.

This division participates in the document maintenance program of the Engineering Department by assigning file numbers to incoming plans and plats, water valve tie records and as-built plans.

Supports the Planning Department in the form of plan review for constructability and conformance with City Standards and Utility Master Plans.
