PARKS & RECREATION

The Recreation Department was founded in 1927 for the purpose of providing recreational opportunities to all Frederick City citizens regardless of age, race or religion. To also provide, utilize and maintain parks, swimming pools and sports facilities for the public’s use and benefits.
