WASTE COLLECTION & DISPOSAL

NEW RESIDENTS & BUSINESSES: How to arrange for trash collection, procedures & restrictions

There will be NO trash collection services on the following holidays:

New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day

Residents should NOT set their trash out the night before these holidays. Residents are asked to hold their trash until the next regularly scheduled trash collection day.

The Ciy of Frederick Department of Public Works and the Frederick County Government provide the following solid waste services:

Yard waste recycling and other disposal options	County

The City no longer collects yard waste, including grass clippings, as part of its trash collection services.
