Frederick, MD -- Don’t miss your chance to get discounted tickets to the party everyone in Frederick will be talking about in 2008! Friday, October 5th is the deadline to purchase lower priced tickets to Hooray for Hollywood – A Weinberg Center New Year’s Eve Gala.

“Hooray for Hollywood” is a premier event that will ring in the New Year like never before in Frederick. This Black Tie party includes all the glamour of old Hollywood with:

dancing to nationally known 10-piece band “Round Midnight”
fabulous hors d'oeuvres and desserts catered by Canapés
an open bar, cocktail stations and a champagne toast
a Monte Carlo game room and cigar lounge
a multimedia midnight countdown show

Early-bird tickets are currently $125 per person. On October 6th, the price goes up to $150 per person. VIP hotel and limo packages are also available. These include overnight accommodations at the Marriott Courtyard hotel in Frederick, stretch limousine shuttle service to and from the event, and breakfast the following morning.

The Weinberg Center for the Arts, a municipal facility of the City of Frederick, is located at 20 West Patrick Street in Historic Downtown Frederick, Maryland. The theatre opened in 1926 as the Tivoli, the grandest of three downtown movie palaces, and was donated to the City of Frederick in 1978.
