The Frederick Community Action Agency (FCAA) is pleased to announce a free homebuyer education class to be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 9 am to 3 pm. The class is being offered to potential first time homebuyers living in Frederick County, Maryland.
The homebuyer education class will discuss the entire home buying process, including: how credit scores affect mortgage qualification, prioritizing debt correction, and mortgage closing procedures.
Additional one-on-one counseling will also be offered for individuals that may be in need of further counseling. These sessions are also offered at no cost.
The FCAA is a HUD-approved housing counseling agency. Individuals that complete the six-hour class will receive a certificate of completion, which is a requirement for Maryland CDA mortgages and USDA loans.
The class will be held at 14 East All Saints Street. Lunch is provided.
To register for the class or if you have any questions, please contact Brad Petersen at 301-600-3966. The registration deadline is October 18, 2007 and will be limited to the first 15 participants.
