Following is a listing of this year’s musical entertainment line-up:

CARROLL CREEK STAGE presented by Wachovia

11am-12:15pm Bonedaddy ( Memphis Blues)

Comprised of ten members from the Frederick and Hagerstown areas, this band has enjoyed success playing the blues for over ten years. A large band by today’s standards, the Bonedaddy band offers an alternative to the traditional guitar-dominated sound so familiar on the club scene today. The Bonedaddy band tries to find songs that are not traditional Blues numbers, incorporating Chicago and Memphis influences, a little bit of Rock and Roll, and even sometimes a little Reggae. The Bonedaddy band is a sound you will never forget! www.whosyourbonedaddy.com

1:00-2:15pm Junk (Jazz/Funk Fusion)

Junk is a jazz/funk fusion throw-down that lays out a high-energy show for events like IN THE STREET! This group includes sax, trombone, guitar, keyboards, bass, drums and DJ. While Junk’s roots lie in jazz, groove and soul music, they step outside of the more traditional formats, blending diverse backgrounds to create funky, grooving music that is decidedly unique and captivating. The band shows just how well jazz, funk and rock can hit it off by combining the intensity and energy of the latter with the improvisations and harmonic complexity of the former. It’s a blend with unprecedented sound. www.thejunkband.com

3:00-4:15pm Jah Works (Reggae)

Jah Works unique reggae sound makes them a favorite in our area. The band has played Celebrate Frederick’s Summer Concert Series and IN THE STREET in previous years. This popular band has toured internationally and their music sweeps you from Frederick to Jamaica in a heartbeat. The foundation of Jah Works is based on a love and respect for Jamaican music and culture. It is this sentiment which gave birth to Jah Works and has become the thread which has kept them together for 11 years and counting. While their music is clearly more “reggae” than any other style, as US natives they’ve always added their own flavor to the mix. www.jahworks.com

1:45 – 3pm Ledbetter Heights(Modern Rock)

Ledbetter Heights comes from a college town, but it's far more than a college band. You've seen the type, maybe even played in one or two: half-talented fellows fumbling out half-serious music, thriving mostly on the attention, trying to escape life outside the venue. These guys are different. They're young men, but old souls. They were toddlers when "Joshua Tree" was released, but one can hear echoes of 70s funk and 60s soul threaded through a modern rock sound all their own. And best of all, they're not playing for escapism or ephemeral pleasures. They're slinging their grooves and melodies because they know moving people to jump, shout, laugh and cry is a serious and noble business, far more important than any day job. www.ledbetterheights.com

3:45 – 5pm Karmella’s Game (Keyboard Rock)

The music of the band Karmella’s Game could be described as energetic, keyboard-driven rock music with four-part harmonies and analog synthesizers. A band that must be seen live to be truly appreciated, Karmella’s Game wins over virtually every audience they perform for. Heads will bob, hands will clap, and spontaneous dancing will break out at IN THE STREET during their performance. They have toured all over the eastern half of the country, and have been fortunate enough to share the stage with lots of amazing bands, many of which you may have heard.

Described as a “t-shirt and jeans blend of pop, rock, soul, and honesty,” the music of the Freddie Long Band has been turning the heads and ears of many—from folkies to metal-heads alike. The four – piece pop/rock group has been packing venues across the Mid – Atlantic. The Freddie Long Band plays fun and upbeat versions of well – known cover favorites while mixing in their own catchy and introspective original music. The chemistry, energy, and enthusiasm of the group often make it hard to distinguish who is having the most fun, the fans or the band. Their debut album “Strangers and Friends” is now available. www.freddielong.com

7:15 – 10pm The Reagan Years(80’s Tribute Band)

Back by popular demand, The Reagan Years will perform ON THE DECK to help us celebrate 25 years of IN THE STREET! This band of seasoned musicians recreates the sounds of the 1980s; a day when Ronald Reagan was President, MTV first aired, CDs emerged, Acid Washed jeans were "Cool" and alternative music was called "New Wave". This period has resurfaced in today's entertainment industry. VH-1 has multiple segments echoing from the 80's Video Generation, radio stations across the U.S. feature artists from the 1980s in daily "flashback" programs while 1980s anthems have permeated TV commercials. The Reagan Yearshas achieved "headline status" in both nightclubs and concert venues throughout the Mid-Atlantic. www.thereaganyears.com
