WATER LINE SHUT DOWN IN CITY OF FREDERICK
Frederick, Md. -- Please be advised that State Highway Administration is working with the City of Frederick to complete a tie in to a main water line along Interstate Route 70. In order to complete the project, the main water line must be shut down. The affected area in the City of Frederick is East South Street from Monocacy Boulevard to Tilco Drive. Businesses and residents affected by this water shut line have been notified. This work is directly related to the State Highway Administration project on Interstate Route 70 and has been planned for several months. Due to the shut down of the water line, several fire hydrants in the City of Frederick may have to be opened to relieve the water pressure.
