RESOLUTION TO AMEND MAX KEHNE PARK LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL FIELD STANDARDS TO COME BEFORE BOARD OF ALDERMEN

Frederick, Md. --- A Resolution to amend the existing Max Kehne Park Little League Baseball Field Standards Policy will come before the Board of Aldermen for a possible vote at the Mayor and Board of Aldermen Public Meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 15, 2007.

The amendment to the current policy is a result of a request from East Frederick Little League. East Frederick Little League has requested the Standards Policy be amended to allow for the use of the public address system when the lights are off, to allow games to start after 5:45 p.m. and to allow an inning to begin at or after 9:00 p.m.

The Mayor and Board of Aldermen Public Meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Boardroom of City Hall, 101 North Court Street. This meeting will be televised live on cable government channel 99 and will be rebroadcast for several days following the meeting. Public comment is encouraged and welcomed.
