CITY HOSTS 3RD ANNUAL SMALL BUSINESS TOOLKIT

Frederick, MD --- The City of Frederick Department of Economic Development will host the “The Small Business Toolkit” on Monday, April 23rd in the C. Burr Arts Library Community Room, 110 East Patrick Street in downtown Frederick, from 6:00-8:30pm. This toolkit will cover everything you ever wanted to know about starting a small business, but were afraid to ask!

Hosted in partnership with the Frederick County Business Resource Center, the evening will feature representatives from Frederick City, County and the State of Maryland Economic Development organizations, the local Small Business Development Center, the Business Resource Center, and City Planning and Permitting.

Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions about business research, business planning, business licensing requirements, zoning and permit requirements, home occupation rules, and much more. Economic Development officials will be on hand to address ways in which businesses can receive assistance throughout the process, as well as opportunities for financing assistance.
