WEB OFFERS ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING IN FREDERICK

Frederick, Md. --- Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore, Inc. (WEB) is excited to announce that it will offer its sought-after business skills training program to 20 Frederick men and women. Classes begin in April 2007 and run for twelve weeks. Classes meet in Frederick two days a week from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
WEB was established in 1989 in response to Baltimore Mayor Kurt Schmoke’s request to research ways of improving the economic status of women. Since then, over 1800 individuals have graduated from WEB’s Business Skills Training Course.
The rigorous twelve-week program begins in April and applications are being accepted now! To qualify for the WEB program applicants must:
Have a clear, focused idea for a viable for-profit business.
Be able to attend twelve weeks of training two nights per week.
Intend to start a business within nine months after the training is completed.
Have the entrepreneurial drive and spirit to make their business a success.
Be a resident of the City of Frederick.
Meet HUD income guidelines.
Pay a $100 class fee.
