TRENCH REPAIRS ON OPOSSUMTOWN PIKE

Frederick, Md. --- Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will be performing permanent trench repairs at the intersections of Poole Jones Road and Hayward Road. Final seed and mulch restoration will also be completed weather permitting.

A lane closure will be in place, as necessary, between Poole Jones Road and the main entrance to Frederick Community College for all southbound traffic on Opossumtown Pike. Additionally, lane closures will be in place, as necessary, between Opossumtown Pike and Morning Dew Lane for all eastbound traffic on Hayward Road. Permanent paving restoration will continue on Opossumtown Pike and Hayward Road for approximately 1 month. Construction activity will be seen on Opossumtown Pike and Hayward Road through April 2007.

IMPACT TO AREA:

Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
