WATER MAIN & SERVICE REPLACMENTS SCHEDULED FOR EAST PATRICK STREET

Frederick, Md. --- Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will begin performing water service replacements on East Patrick Street between the intersections of Franklin Street and Monroe Street. This work will begin on Monday June 15, 2007 during daytime hours and will transition into night work on Tuesday night. Traffic control will include lane closures and flagging operations as necessary.

IMPACT TO AREA:

1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for daytime operations and between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. for night work operations.
2. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
3. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
