WATER MAIN & SERVICE REPLACEMENTS SCHEDULED FOR WEST PATRICK STREET FROM BENTZ STREET TO JEFFERSON STREET

Frederick, Md. --- Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue with permanent trench and sidewalk restoration. Work during this time will be concentrated at the intersection of North Jefferson (completing pavement restoration), College Ave. (removing an old valve), Bentz Street (repairing a valve) and +/- 237 Patrick Street (performing a pavement repair). Please note that no work has been scheduled for Wednesday in recognition of the July 4th holiday. Construction activity will be seen on West Patrick Street, between Bentz Street and North Jefferson St. through July 2007.

Impact to Area:

1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
2. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
3. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
