CODE ENFORCEMENT ANNOUNCES THE ONGOING RESULTS OF OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP

Frederick, Md. -- The City of Frederick Code Enforcement Department has announced the completion of the fifth “Operation Clean Sweep.” Code Enforcement personnel conducted Operation Clean Sweep in the NAC 4 area on June 28, 2007 converging on areas bordered by the Monocacy River on the east, Tuscarora Creek on the north, Monocacy Blvd. on the west and Route 26 on the south. As a result of the sweep, officers handed out 12 Notices of Violations covering 3 different code violations with breakdown as follows: 8 violations for grass exceeding ten inches; 2 violations for filth and rubbish; and 3 violations for unlicensed or inoperable vehicles.
