MAYOR CALLS FOR CLOSED SESSION

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor William J. Holtzinger has requested a Closed Session on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 2:30 PM preceding the 3:00 PM Workshop meeting. Mayor Holtzinger will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a Closed Session. This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, Section 10-508(a)(1)(i) to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom it has jurisdiction and Section 10-508(a)(3) to consider the acquisition of real property for a public purpose and matters directly related thereto.

Mayor Holtzinger will entertain a motion to this effect at 2:30 PM and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent.
