WATER MAIN & SERVICE REPLACEMENTS SCHEDULED FOR EAST PATRICK STREET FROM MONOCACY BOULEVARD TO FRANKLIN STREET
Frederick, Md. --- Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will be installing temporary bypass piping and saw cutting pavement in preparation for the water main replacement work that will be performed along East Patrick Street between the intersections of Monocacy Blvd. & Monroe Street. The work during this time will begin on Monday morning (July 16, 2007) at 9:00 a.m. and continue with a mixture of night work (7:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.) and daytime work (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) through Thursday night. Traffic control will include lane closures and flagging operations as necessary.
Impact to Area:
1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for daytime operations and between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. for night work operations.
2. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
3. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
