Keep It Out! A Workshop for Owners of Old Buildings SCHEDULED FOR jULY 21, 2007
Frederick, MD--- Keep it Out! is a dynamic presentation about reducing air infiltration and keeping water away from old buildings. “The Ol’ House Experts” –Jack Patchin and Rhonda Deeg—will give the presentation to the public on Saturday, 21 July, at the Municipal Annex, 140 West Patrick Street. The session will begin at 10:00 and last until 1:00. Refreshments will be provided.
Subjects that will be covered include increasing energy efficiency in old buildings, strategies for reducing water penetration, and essential maintenance for a warm and dry house. Between them, Mr. Patchin and Dr. Deeg have 25 years experience in the rehabilitation of historic buildings. Both have worked on a number of major historic landmarks, including Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Wisconsin home and studio.
