“CITY OF FREDERICK DAY” IN ANNAPOLIS

Frederick, Md. ----The City of Frederick will have its day in Annapolis! The first annual “City of Frederick Day” reception in Annapolis is scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2007. Mayor Jeff Holtzinger, the Board of Aldermen and City staff will have the opportunity to share their views on several key City projects with State Legislators in Annapolis. City departments will have displays and literature available to discuss individual projects. Projects highlighted at this event will include Transportation Projects, State Grants for the Weinberg Center, Harry Grove Stadium Capital Fund, Parks and Recreation Development, Economic Development projects including key business initiatives and Carroll Creek Park, Neighborhood Revitalization, and Frederick Municipal Airport Capital Improvement Plan.

The reception will include a buffet luncheon hosted by Mayor Jeff Holtzinger and the Board of Aldermen. “This a wonderful opportunity to highlight the best of Frederick and discuss City needs” said Mayor Jeff Holtzinger. “City of Frederick Day” in Annapolis will take place from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM in the Lowe House Office Building, Room 170, located at 6 Bladen Street in Annapolis.
