CITY OF FREDERICK ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS SEEKS TO FILL VACANCY

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that The City of Frederick is currently seeking applicants interested in filling a position on the Zoning Board of Appeals. This appointment is for a three year term. The Zoning Board of Appeals meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Boardroom of City Hall. Additionally, members of this Board are required to attend daytime field trips as needed. Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals are paid $25.00 per meeting for their service. The Zoning Board of Appeals has the authority to hear and determine appeals from refusal of building permits and/or use of land, to hear appeals where an error in the application of the zoning ordinances and regulations is charged and to hear permits exceptions to or variations from the zoning ordinance or regulations in accordance with the zoning ordinance or regulations.
