PARROTT TO DEPART ENGINEERING POSITION IN THE CITY OF FREDERICK
Frederick, MD -- Mr. Neil Parrott, P.E., P.T.O.E., Deputy Director of Public Works for Engineering, has announced he is resigning to pursue an opportunity to start his own engineering consulting firm. Mr. Parrott’s last day with the City of Frederick will be August 17, 2007.
Mayor Jeff Holtzinger stated, “I appreciate Mr. Parrott’s efforts during his tenure with the City and I wish him the best of luck with his new endeavors. I believe Mr. Parrott has a lot to offer as an engineering consultant given all his years of experience as a traffic engineer.”
During his tenure with the City of Frederick, Mr. Parrott helped recruit a new traffic engineer for the City of Frederick, oversaw the updating of the engineering checklist and procured the extension of new sidewalk along the Golden Mile.
