MAYOR REMINDS RESIDENTS TO VOLUNTARILY LIMIT WATER USAGE

Frederick, MD – Mayor William J. Holtzinger would like to remind residents that due to the continuing dry weather conditions, he is requesting all residents of the City of Frederick to continue to limit unnecessary water usage such as watering lawns, washing cars, filling pools etc. If the dry weather conditions continue, it may be necessary to put mandatory water use restrictions in place. During this period of dry weather, the City will work closely with Frederick County to ensure adequate water supply is available to residents.
