CODE ENFORCEMENT ANNOUNCES THE ONGOING RESULTS OF OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick Code Enforcement Department has announced the completion of the eighth “Operation Clean Sweep.” Code Enforcement personnel conducted Operation Clean Sweep in the NAC 9 area on August 24th, 2007 converging on areas bordered by Rosemont Ave & Dill Ave (south of), US Rt 15 (east of), South Jefferson St (N.W. of) & Bentz St (west of). As a result of the sweep, officers handed out 33 Notices of Violations covering 36 different violations. The breakdown is as follows: 6 violations for filth and rubbish; 7 violations for grass and weeds; 18 violations for unlicensed or inoperable vehicles and 5 notices of violations for misc. other city code violations.
