FREDERICK FOODBANK NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

Frederick, MD ---- The Frederick Foodbank, operated by the Frederick Community Action Agency (FCAA), is desperately in need of volunteers to staff the foodbank and handout food to needy families. The Frederick Foodbank provides a 3- to 5-day supply of food to needy families that are experiencing a financial crisis and cannot afford their groceries. The Frederick Foodbank serves 350 to 450 families each month. Volunteers are needed to stock the Foodbank shelves, bag groceries, and distribute food bags to needy families. The Frederick Foodbank is located at 14 East All Saints Street, Frederick and free parking is provided for volunteers.

Volunteers are needed during the following hours:

· Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

· Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

· Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
