TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURES ON OPOSSUMTOWN PIKE

Frederick, MD --- Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will be performing final touch up to the seed & mulch repairs in the areas disturbed by the water main installations along Opossumtown Pike and Hayward Road. This work will include the placement of topsoil, seed and mulch. This work is expected to take place from Monday, April 23, 2007 through Friday, April 27, 2007.

A lane closure will be in place, as necessary, between Poole Jones Road and the main entrance to Frederick Community College for all southbound traffic on Opossumtown Pike. Additionally, lane closures will be in place, as necessary, between Opossumtown Pike and Morning Dew Lane for all eastbound traffic on Hayward Road. Permanent paving restoration will continue on Opossumtown Pike and Hayward Road for approximately 1 month. Construction activity will be seen on Opossumtown Pike and Hayward Road through April 2007.

IMPACT TO AREA:

Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
