WATER MAIN INSTALLATION TO CONTINUE ON OPOSSUMTOWN PIKE

Frederick, MD --- Please be advised Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue installation of the new 12” water main along Opossumtown Pike and progress north toward the intersection of Poole Jones Road. Scheduled dates for this portion of the construction are Monday, October 23, 2006 to Friday, October 27, 2006. A lane closure will be in place, as necessary, between Poole Jones Road and the main entrance to Frederick Community College for all southbound traffic on Opossumtown Pike. Additionally, lane closures will be in place, as necessary, between Opossumtown Pike and Morning Dew Lane for all eastbound traffic on Hayward Road. The water main installation will continue on Opossumtown Pike and Hayward Road for approximately 7 months.

IMPACT TO AREA:

Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
