WATER MAIN AND SERVICE REPLACEMENT WORK ON WEST PATRICK STREET FROM BENTZ STREET TO JEFFERSON STREET

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue water service replacements between Bentz Street and College Avenue. The scheduled construction date is October 16, 2006 thru October 20, 2006. Water main replacement will follow over the next two months. Construction activity will be seen on West Patrick Street, between Bentz Street and College Avenue through November 2006.

We regret any inconvenience that this may cause in your travels and thank you for your cooperation.

IMPACT TO AREA:

1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
2. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
3. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
