MAYOR CALLS FOR CLOSED SESSION TO FOLLOW MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN PUBLIC MEETING
Frederick, Md. --- Mayor William J. Holtzinger has requested a Closed Session to follow the conclusion of the scheduled Mayor and Board of Aldermen Public Meeting on Thursday, November 16, 2006. Mayor Holtzinger will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a Closed Session. This action is in accordance with the authority
granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, Section 10-508(a)(1)(i) to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom it has jurisdiction.
Mayor Holtzinger will entertain a motion to this effect following the conclusion of the 7:00 PM Mayor and Board of Aldermen Public Meeting and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent.
