FIRE HYDRANT REPLACEMENT SET EAST 15TH STREET

Frederick, Md. ---Please be advised that The City of Frederick’s Water Department will be replacing a fire hydrant and valve on East 15th Street on Thursday, June 1st. Work is expected to take place from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m., weather and emergency work permitting. As a result of this work East 15th Street, from East Street to Market Street, will be closed to through traffic. Emergency equipment will be able to access both ends but not travel through. Water will be shut off to accommodate this repair. Local residents to be affected will be notified by door notice.
