ROADWORK ON PORTION OF PONTIAC AVENUE

Frederick, Md. ---Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will be saw cutting the roadway on Pontiac Avenue, from 9th Street to the dead end, during the week of May 30th, in preparation for test pit excavations on the existing water main in the area mentioned. Traffic control will include lane/roadway closures and detour operations as necessary.

IMPACT TO AREA:
Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Temporary traffic detours will be installed on a daily basis, as needed, from 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. During these temporary detours, only local traffic and deliveries will be permitted on the street being worked on.
Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
