LAW & DIVERSITY TRAINING WORKSHOP SET FOR JUNE 8TH
Frederick, Md. --- The Frederick County Branch of the NAACP, the Frederick City Police and the Sheriff's office in collaboration with the EEOC and other Federal Government agencies are inviting local and regional companies/organizations to participate in our Law & Diversity Training Workshop for supervisors and team leaders.
Participating organizations as well as individuals will be awarded the 2006 NAACP Law & Diversity Training Certificate at the end of the workshop.
A second workshop targeting employees and the general public will follow later on in the year.
During the three to four hours seminar, participants will learn from experienced federal and local law enforcement officers on better ways to prevent, detect and handle work place violence, harassment and discrimination, as well as labor laws. Other community leaders from different cultures will also provide tips on how to prevent, detect and handle conflict that may arise as a consequence of Cultural shock.
