TRENCH PAVING AND SIDEWALK RESTORATION TO CONTINUE ON GRANT PLACE NEXT WEEK

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue the permanent trench paving and sidewalk restoration on Grant Place, from Bolton Street to Rosemont Avenue, during the week of May 15 - 19. The water main replacement and associated work in this area will continue for approximately one month. Construction activity will be seen on Grant Place, between Bolton Street and Rosemont Avenue, through May 2006.

IMPACT TO AREA:
Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Temporary traffic detours will be installed on a daily basis, as needed, from 6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. During these temporary detours, only local traffic and deliveries will be permitted on the street being worked on.
Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
