SINGLE LANE OF TRAFFIC ON SECTION OF SOUTH MARKET STREET FOR REMAINDER OF WEEK

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that the City of Frederick’s Sewer Department will be repairing piping inside a sewer manhole on a section of South Market Street from Wednesday, March 8 - Friday, March 10. As a result of this work South Market Street, from Carroll Creek bridge to Citizens Way, will be a single lane of traffic. Work will be done on the west side of South Market Street. Citizens Way will be closed as well. The work should be completed within a few hours providing no setbacks are encountered. Expect normal construction equipment in this area while the work is taking place. The work will begin at approximately 7 a.m. daily, weather and emergency work permitting.
