A CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR ‘IN THE STREET’ 2006

The 24th Annual IN THE STREET festival to be held Saturday, October 7th, is looking for dynamic and passionate volunteers to fill several open positions. Volunteer opportunities range from attending planning sessions and spearheading themed areas, to helping the day of the event. This signature event attracts approx. 75,000 to Market Street and has been voted ‘Best Annual Event’ by Frederick Magazine. Interested in bringing your knowledge, input and experience to IN THE STREET? Consider attending the next IN THE STREET committee meeting to be held Tuesday, April 4th at 5:30 p.m. in the William Talley Recreation Center.
