PORTION OF BIGGS AVENUE TO BE CLOSED ON MONDAY

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that the City of Frederick’s Water Department will be digging to remove and replace an existing fire hydrant that was damaged during an auto accident at the intersection of Biggs Avenue and Belmont Avenue. This work is expected to begin at 7 a.m., on Monday, March 21, weather and emergency work permitting.

As a result of this work, there will be no parking in the immediate area around the hydrant. Biggs Avenue will be closed from Belmont Avenue to Evergreen Avenue; with local traffic will be able to access their residences. Emergency equipment will not granted passage.
