CURB AND GUTTER REPLACEMENT IN PORTIONS OF CITY TO BEGIN MARCH 13TH

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that the City of Frederick’s Department of Public Works Street Department will be excavating damaged curb and gutter, as well as preparing the area for curb and gutter reinstall, on sections of West All Saints Street and East South Street during the week of March 13th. Affected areas include East South Street, from South Market Street to South Carroll Street; and West All Saints Street, from South Market Street to Bentz Street. There will be posted parking restrictions on a portion of West All Saints Street.

Once the new curb and gutter is poured the Street Department will place hot mix asphalt in the void between new gutter pan and existing roadway. The work will begin at approximately 7 a.m. daily, weather and emergency work permitting. Travelers should expect minor traffic delays. Proceed with caution in these areas, as there will be flagman working.
