INSTALLATION OF TEMPORARY BYPASS PIPING ALONG GROVE BLVD. TO BE COMPLETED DURING THIRD WEEK IN JUNE
Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will complete the installation of temporary bypass piping along Grove Boulevard, from Rosemont Avenue to West 2nd Street, during the third week in June. The bypass piping will provide water service to the properties within the work area while the existing water main is being replaced. Additionally, a crew will sawcut the pavement for the new water line trench and will begin the piping installation. The water main installation will start at the intersection of 2nd Street and progress toward Rosemont Avenue. Please note that during working hours a traffic detour will be in place. We ask that all local traffic, (residents living on Grove Blvd.) enter from Rosemont Avenue during this time period. The water main replacement and associated work in this area will continue for approximately four months. Construction activity will be seen on Grove Blvd., between Rosemont Ave. and West 2nd St. through September 2006.
IMPACT TO AREA:
Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
We apologize for any inconvenience this street work may have on you. Thank you for your cooperation!
