WATER MAIN INSTALLATION TO
CONTINUE ON GROVE BOULEVARD
Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue with the installation of the water main on Grove Boulevard from Rosemont Avenue to West Second Street. This work will take from Wednesday, July 5, 2006 to Friday, July 7, 2006. Please note that during the working hours of 6:30 am to 4:00 pm a traffic detour will be in place limiting traffic to one lane. We ask that all local traffic, (residents living on Grove Blvd.) enter from Rosemont Avenue during this time period. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
The water main replacement and associated work in this area will continue for approximately 4 months. Construction activity will be seen on Grove Blvd., between Rosemont Ave. and West 2nd St. through September 2006.
We regret any inconvenience that this may cause in your travels and thank you for your cooperation.
IMPACT TO AREA:
1. Traffic control devices such as traffic cones, signs and arrow boards will be used to limit traffic to one lane during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
2. Temporary traffic detours will be installed on a daily basis, as needed, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During these temporary detours, only local traffic will be permitted on Hamilton Ave. between Rosemont Ave. and West 2nd Street. The intended detour routes will be either Lindbergh Avenue or Magnolia Avenue.
3. Please exercise caution when driving or walking in the vicinity of the temporary bypass piping (blue pipe along street).
4. Please note that during the progress of this work, parking along the street is strongly discouraged. During non-working hours, miscellaneous equipment and materials will be stored within the parking lanes of the streets as necessary.
